Interior Systems Rough Framing

In this course, apprentices will learn to install metal framing, soffits and drywall. In addition to classroom activities that involve lecture, video and a quiz, the apprentices will participate in shop activities where each apprentice will apply what he/she has just been taught. The course concludes at the end of the week when the apprentice takes an exam over the material taught that week. The apprentice’s final grade is a percentage of their grades from shop, quizzes, final exam and their attendance.

 

Interior Systems Finish

In this course, apprentices will learn to install drywall trim, acoustical ceilings and crown mold. In addition to classroom activities that involve lecture, video and a quiz, the apprentices will participate in shop activities where each apprentice will apply what he/she has just been taught. The course concludes at the end of the week when the apprentice takes an exam over the material taught that week. The apprentice’s final grade is a percentage of their grades from shop, quizzes, final exam and their attendance.
